8:10 a.m. ¼ mile Kids’ Fun Run (5 yrs & under)
8:15 a.m. ½ mile Kids’ Fun Run (6-9 yr olds)
8:20 a.m. ½ mile Kids’ Fun Run (10-12 yr olds)
8:35 a.m. 5K Run/Walk & 10K Run

Elk Grove Regional Park, Elk Grove, CA Get Directions/Map

Course:

Scenic, at and fast route beginning and ending in the park featuring a new start and Finish at the Jerry Fox Aquatic Center. See the course map for detailed route information.

Why:

To benefit the Northern Area Dietetic Association (NADA) and its grant funded programs to fight childhood obesity.

Buzz Oates RunSac Race Series

We are proud to be one of the twelve races on the Buzz Oates RunSac Race Series – an exciting, new age-graded grand prix competition in the Greater Sacramento area.

5K/10K Divisions:

Stroller (5K only), 12 & under, 13-15, 16-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+

Awards:

Awards will be presented to the overall male and female winner and top three in each age category, and to the top three stroller finishers. All pre-registered kids 12 and under will receive medals.

Fees:

5K/10K - $25 thru March 22nd; $30 after March 22nd and on race day. Kids' Fun Run - $15 anytime

Directions:

From Highway 99, take the Elk Grove Blvd exit and head east (approximately 1 mile). Make a right turn onto Elk Grove-Florin Road. The park entrance is on the right, approximately ¾ mile from Elk Grove Blvd. Parking available in Rotary Grove and throughout the park. Please do not enter through the main park entrance after 7:30 a.m. All other entrances will be open. Get Directions/Map.

Pre-Race Packet Pickup:

Pick up your race packet on Friday, March 28, 2008 from 10am-7pm or Saturday March 29, 2008 from 10am-6pm at:
